The Anglican Church is committed to have chaplains represented in all the correction centres in Queensland, and my calling to become involved in Prison Ministry began over 5 years ago and was the beginning of a totally new chapter in my Christian journey. My allocated day is Thursday each week and every 6th Sunday to conduct 3 Chapel Services.
I am always so grateful for the support of St. Marks and know as I enter the centre there are people praying for my safety and the work I do and as well knowing I have God also protecting me and assisting me in finding the best words to use in each situation.
