Care
Thursdays at St Mark's
On Thursdays, St Mark’s is open for coffee, tea, and conversation from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Everyone in The Gap community is welcome, whenever you can make it, for however long suits you. There is no set plan or agenda – we gather and enjoy each other’s company. Feel free to bring your knitting, mending, or artwork, and enjoy our airconditioning!

Care Net
CareNet is a way to help us stay connected and to let others know when you need support. The program is made up of small groups within the church. There is a contact person within each group whose role is to check in with you, see how you are and if there is anything that you need. It is a way of us being able to support you. Your contact person can pass on any concerns/requests to Rev’d Ann. However, you are always welcome to contact Rev’d Ann directly.
Sometimes, for many different reasons, it is not possible to attend church and we want to make sure especially during this time that we can support you and be in contact. Care Net is NOT a check in to see why you are not at church!
If you would like to be part of St Mark’s Care Net, please let our administration officers know.
We would also love to hear from you, if you would like to be a contact person for a small group of 5 – 6 people.
Protecting Vulnerable People
At St Mark’s, we are committed to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. If ever there is any concern, please contact Rev’d Ann on 0432 197 606 or the Office of Professional Standards on 1800 242 544 for support and assistance. Our policies and procedures can be found at the Anglican Church Southern Queensland Website.
